Reports guide

Choose the report view before you export.

Reports are designed to give a clear current picture without forcing users to inspect every task, file or register.

Recommended flow

1

Choose the view

Start with overview, tasks, evidence or ISO depending on the audience.

2

Check the data

Review overdue work, missing evidence and record status before exporting.

3

Select the format

Use PDF for sharing, print for meetings and XLSX or CSV for data review.

4

Use audit packs

Use audit pack exports when documents, evidence and open actions need to travel together.

Which report should I use?

Different audiences need different levels of detail.

  • Use Overview for owner or management updates.
  • Use Tasks when the discussion is about responsibility, deadlines or completion.
  • Use Evidence when the discussion is about proof, expiry dates or missing records.
  • Use ISO reports and audit packs when preparing for review, consultancy work or certification support.

Before exporting

A quick check avoids sharing a confusing or incomplete report.

  • Open overdue and missing-evidence items before exporting a formal status view.
  • Check the organisation profile if report context looks incomplete.
  • Use PDF when the recipient should read the report rather than edit data.
  • Use XLSX or CSV when someone needs to sort, filter or analyse the records.

Important boundary

Obligary supports organisation and evidence. It does not replace professional judgement.

Use Obligary to manage tasks, owners, reminders, documents, evidence and reports. Your organisation remains responsible for deciding what applies and taking legal, regulatory or certification advice where needed.
