Use My Work to focus each person on what matters next.

My Work brings assigned tasks, unowned work, due dates, waiting items and evidence quality into one priority queue. It is designed for task owners who need a clear next action without opening every module.

Recommended flow

1

Check the focus cards

Start with overdue, due-today, due-this-week and missing-evidence counts to understand pressure before opening the queue.

2

Work top to bottom

Use the priority queue first. Items appear because they are assigned to you, unassigned, urgent, high risk, waiting or missing evidence.

3

Use quick actions

Claim unassigned work, start tasks, mark waiting, snooze by a week or complete low-friction work directly from the queue.

4

Upload better evidence

When evidence is missing, use Add evidence from the item so the upload is already linked to the right task.

What appears in My Work

The page shows the work you are responsible for and the work that needs ownership.

  • Owners and admins see team-wide open work so they can unblock the workspace.
  • Members see tasks assigned to them and unassigned tasks they can claim.
  • Completed and not-applicable items are kept out of the queue so the page stays action focused.
  • Document workflow tasks stay guided by the document review, approval or acknowledgement process.
  • Management review actions appear as normal owned work when they are synced to the calendar.

Quick action rules

Quick actions are intended for small, safe updates that do not need a full task review.

  • Assign to me claims unowned work so the team knows who is taking responsibility.
  • Start changes a normal task to in progress; Waiting marks a dependency or third-party hold.
  • Snooze 7 days moves the due date forward when the work is real but not ready today.
  • Complete is hidden when required evidence is missing, so important proof is captured first.

Evidence health

Evidence health helps prevent a file store becoming a folder of mystery documents.

  • Strong evidence is linked to the right work, has useful notes, has an owner and is not expired.
  • Records to tidy first show the files most likely to create audit or reporting confusion.
  • Common gaps show whether the workspace needs better linking, expiry dates, notes or reuse across standards.
  • The evidence score also appears in the vault so admins can keep quality improving over time.

Weekly operating rhythm

Use My Work as the landing page for owners, admins and task owners.

  • Open My Work at the start of the week and clear overdue items first.
  • Use missing evidence as the prompt to upload proof or request it from the right person.
  • Use waiting status when a task cannot move until a supplier, adviser or internal owner responds.
  • Pair My Work with scheduled report emails so people receive a link back to their current queue.
